Cookie policy.
This website sets no tracking, advertising or third-party cookies. The only cookies it uses are a language-preference cookie and, for authorised staff, admin session cookies. This page explains what they do and how we measure visits without cookies.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser so that it can recognise your device on later requests. Cookies can be strictly necessary for a site to work, or they can be used to track visitors across sites for advertising. We only use the first kind.
Cookies set by this site
- d1-locale: remembers whether you prefer the Turkish or English version of the site so that you are taken to the right language on your next visit. Set when you switch language or when the site first detects your browser language. First-party, valid for 12 months, strictly necessary for the function you requested. It contains only the two-letter language code.
- Admin session cookies: set only when an authorised Delivery One team member signs in to the content administration panel. They keep that person signed in and protect the panel against request forgery. Visitors to the public site never receive them. First-party and HttpOnly; deleted when the session ends or at the latest after 8 hours.
No other cookies are set, and no information is stored in your browser for advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking.
Why we do not show a cookie banner
Under the Personal Data Protection Board’s guideline on cookie practices, cookies that are strictly necessary to provide a service the visitor has explicitly requested, such as remembering a chosen language or keeping a signed-in session, do not require consent. Because these are the only cookies we use, we do not ask you to accept cookies. If we ever add cookies that require consent, we will ask for it before they are set and update this policy.
Cookieless analytics
We want to know which pages are read, how much time is spent on them and where visitors come from, without following individuals. For that we use our own first-party, cookieless measurement method:
- No cookie or other identifier is stored on your device; measurement runs only in the browser’s memory while the page is open.
- What we measure: Page views, active time on a page (background tabs are not counted), scroll depth, button and link clicks, referring site, country and device type.
- To tell visits apart, your IP address and browser details are turned into an irreversible digest (hash) with a secret key that changes every day. Your IP address is not stored; the digest is kept for at most 24 hours and cannot be linked to a visit on the next day.
Our reports contain only aggregated counts; these figures cannot be traced back to you.
Chatbot and embedded media
The assistant on this site runs inside the page and does not set cookies; conversation history is kept only for the duration of your visit unless you ask us to follow up. Product films are served from our own content delivery network and do not load third-party players or social plugins. If we embed third-party content in the future, we will describe it here first.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. If you delete d1-locale, the site will simply ask your browser for its preferred language again. Blocking the admin session cookie only affects staff signing in to the admin panel.
Changes and contact
We will update this page whenever our use of cookies changes; the date at the top shows the current version. Questions can be sent to info@delivery-one.com. For how we process personal data more generally, see our Privacy policy and KVKK information notice.
